BioMed Central held its first conference on Epigenetics & Chromatin: interactions and processes in Boston from 11-13 March 2013. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it such a stimulating and interactive meeting.

By bringing together speakers in ten distinct but related areas of epigenetic research, the aim of the conference was to shed light on dynamic chromatin processes that connect genotype to phenotype. Each oral session was led by a distinguished leader in the field, and included terrific high-quality talks by both invited speakers and participants selected from the abstracts.
